Welcome to Brookline Fine Wine and Gourmet

Welcome to the new blog home of Brookline Fine Wine and Gourmet! We are a small fine wine, craft beer, and specialty food shop located in Brookline Massachusetts, in the heart of Brookline Village. BFW&G has been open since 2010, but came under new ownership and management in May of 2015. Allow me to give you a brief rundown of what to expect from our store and it's blog.

Our store is small and cozy, but we offer a wide and eclectic selection of hand picked wines from around the world. Everything we select is tasted first, so we can offer real knowledge in discussing and recommending our wines. We specialize in individual customer service and love to chat about wines and food pairings. If you don't see the bottle you're looking for, just ask. We'll be happy to special order it if we can.

We also offer a wide and ever expanding selection of craft beers. From thirst quenching and affordable back yard beers to robust age worthy specialty items, we do our best to represent the vast amount of styles available in today's beer world.

We offer a small but well selected variety of gourmet cheeses, meats and other items to perfectly accompany your wine or beer selections. We're always open to suggestions, just tell us your favorite cheese or other snack and we'll see about adding it to the roster.

We host free wine and beer tastings at our tasting bar every Friday evening from 5:00 till 7:00. The bar is also available for private tastings or wine seminars, great for small gatherings or corporate events. Call to inquire about rates and details.

Here on the blog we'll focus on discussing new products, letting you know what's going in the shop, and musing  on the beauty of food, wine, and life in general.
